Most large companies have affiliate programs - but many use a specialist company to operate them.  For example, in the UK there is Trade Doubler (www.tradedoubler.com) and in the USA there is Commission Junction (www.cj.com).  There is no charge to sign up to affiliate programs - all you need to do is load up suitable adverts on appropriate pages.
